These Terms of Service govern the relationship between Watch Your WP ("the Service") and the person/entity using the Service ("User", "you"). By registering for or using the Service, you accept these terms.
1. Description of the Service and Beta Status
Watch Your WP is software that lets you manage your WordPress sites from a single panel (plugin/theme management, backups, security scanning, uptime monitoring, and the like). The Service is currently in closed beta: it is offered only to invited users, free of charge, without a predetermined service level commitment (SLA). During the beta period, features may change, become temporarily unavailable, or be removed; the Service may be terminated with or without notice.
2. Account and Connection Responsibility
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials (password) and your Watch Your WP Connector plugin API keys.
- You may only connect WordPress sites to Watch Your WP that you have administrative authority over.
- You are responsible for all actions carried out through your account (including plugin/theme/core updates, deletion, and restoration).
3. Unacceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Gain unauthorized access to a WordPress site you do not have administrative authority over,
- Damage the Service's infrastructure, overload it, or probe it for security vulnerabilities,
- Engage in content or activity that violates applicable law,
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the Service (for parts of the source code that are not your own).
4. Risky Actions and Backups
Watch Your WP offers actions that directly modify your live site, such as plugin/theme/core updates, deletion, and restoring from a backup. These actions are applied in real time through WordPress's own update mechanism and may not always be reversible. The Service recommends taking a backup before a risky action; however, the final responsibility and decision are yours. Restoring from a backup also reverts any changes made to your site after that backup was taken; this follows from the nature of the restore feature.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Service, particularly during the beta phase, is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranty. There is no guarantee that the Service will run uninterrupted or error-free, or that managed WordPress sites will not experience data loss or downtime. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no liability is accepted for indirect damages arising from use of the Service (including data loss, business loss, or lost revenue). This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.
6. Intellectual Property
Watch Your WP's software, design, and brand belong to Erdinç Bulat. All rights to the WordPress sites you connect and their content belong to you; Watch Your WP only processes this data to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
7. Termination of Account
You may close your account at any time. If unacceptable use is detected, or when the beta period ends, your account may be suspended or closed with or without notice.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated as the Service develops. You will be notified of material changes via your registered email address.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey; the courts and enforcement offices of Turkey have jurisdiction over any disputes.
